As we continue to grow our Luxembourg-based operations, we are seeking an experienced and senior Manager Oversight – Delegated Functions to lead and take full ownership of our oversight framework for delegated AIFM functions.

Your Role

  • As Manager Oversight – Delegated Functions, you will be the primary responsible person for overseeing all delegated functions within our AIFM framework. You will manage the design, implementation, and ongoing management of the oversight programme — ensuring that all delegates, service providers, and distribution partners operate in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements. In this role, you will act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders, regulators, and external partners, and will contribute to the strategic development of the oversight function.

Your Responsibilities

  • Delegate & Partner Oversight: Manage the monitoring, assessment, and documentation of service providers, delegates, and distribution and business partners in accordance with applicable AIFM regulatory requirements, ensuring ongoing adherence across the full oversight lifecycle.
  • Risk-Based Due Diligence: Design and conduct structured, risk-based due diligence processes for counterparties and business partners, driving quality and consistency across the review cycle.
  • Controls & Findings Management: Own the tracking of oversight controls, audit findings, and remediation measures — ensuring timely escalation, follow-up, and thorough documentation throughout the resolution process.
  • Oversight Documentation & Reporting: Maintain and develop oversight documentation frameworks; lead the drafting and review of internal reports, policies, and procedures in line with evolving regulatory expectations.
  • Regulatory Monitoring & Audit Support: Proactively monitor regulatory developments and deadlines relevant to the AIFM delegation framework; support internal and external audits, including preparation of evidence and management of audit queries.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a main point of contact for regulators, external auditors, delegates, and internal governance bodies on all matters related to the oversight of delegated functions.

Your Profile

  • Professional Experience: At least six years of relevant professional experience in regulatory oversight, fund governance, or risk management — preferably within an AIFM, fund administrator, or financial services environment.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of delegation oversight frameworks, risk-based due diligence methodologies, and oversight control structures; strong familiarity with applicable EU and Luxembourg regulatory requirements (e.g. AIFMD, CSSF circulars).
  • AIFM / Fund Expertise: Demonstrable experience in the Luxembourg fund or AIFM environment is strongly required — hands-on knowledge of the delegation oversight framework and related regulatory expectations is essential.
  • Leadership & Ownership: Proven ability to take full ownership of a function, manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, and drive outcomes independently at a senior level.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Confident and authoritative professional presence, with excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to engage credibly with regulators, senior management, and external partners.
  • Languages & Tools: Excellent command of both German and English (written and spoken) is required; proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
